Public meetings for Healthier Together Judicial Review

Residents of Eastern Cheshire are invited to attend any of the upcoming public meetings to find out more about the forthcoming judicial review court hearing which will examine the decision taken on 15 July 2015 to make Stepping Hill hospital in Stockport the fourth hospital in Greater Manchester to provide specialist abdominal surgery as part of the Healthier Together programme

Mixed flu jab uptake across Eastern Cheshire causes concern

The number of people taking up the opportunity to receive their seasonal flu jab has been very mixed across Eastern Cheshire – causing concern among local doctors.

While one practice in the area has ordered 200 extra flu vaccines to keep up with demand – another has administered around 250 less vaccines than it did last year.

Launch of new app announced to mark Self Care Week

The people who plan and buy most of Eastern Cheshire's healthcare services have announced they’re creating a self-care app for parents and carers of children aged 0-5.

We have teamed up with our partners NHS South Cheshire CCG and Public Health Cheshire East to commission the ‘CATCH’ app, which will be launched in early 2016.
