New era for Eastern Cheshire patient group

A group that represents the views of patients and carers in Eastern Cheshire has named a new chair.

Patrick Heywood has taken over the helm at Eastern Cheshire HealthVoice, which as an advisory committee to the CCG and helps to ensure the we consider the views of local people when undertaking our duty to plan and buy health services.

Changes to inpatient stroke services at Macclesfield Hospital

At our Governing Body meeting on Wednesday 29 June, we approved plans to place all inpatient rehabilitative stroke services with specialist centres at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport; and Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent.

Tender now live - Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Mental Health Service Provision (including IAPT) Service

NHS Eastern Cheshire CCG's intention is to procure a core IAPT service (covering Steps 2 & 3) in addition to a Wellbeing Wraparound service via separate lots. Access to both services will be via Access and Referral Points to be provided by the core IAPT Service Provider.
